"For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The Nativity scene goes back to St. Francis of Assisi, who set up the first one at Greccio in 1223 so people could see how humbly God came to us. A statue gives our prayer a focus and a place, whether on a home altar, a bookshelf or a classroom. Have it blessed by a priest and let it remind the whole family to pray.
This Nativity figurine is a beautiful and inspiring additions to any family's Christmas collection. The faux woodgrain is made of stoneresin and crafted to reflect the Christmas story. Comes in an elegant Avalon Gallery™ signature gift box - great for giving or for storage after the season ends!
