"For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The Nativity scene goes back to St. Francis of Assisi, who set up the first one at Greccio in 1223 so people could see how humbly God came to us. Catholics have always kept holy statues in the home, not to worship them but to remember the ones they show and ask for their prayers. This would be lovely on a prayer corner or mantle.
Hark the herald angels sing, glory to our new born King. Avalon Gallery™ celebrates the Holy Family with these new nativity figurines. Each is finely crafted and designed to bring the Christmas story to life as we remember He is the reason for the season.
