Sterling Patron Saint Anthony Medal SS727-3
Christian BrandsSt. Anthony of Padua, Franciscan priest and Doctor of the Church, was such a powerful preacher that crowds followed him everywhere. Most of us know him as the saint to call on when something is lost, and he is a great friend of the poor. A sterling medal is a quiet way to carry the faith close to your heart every day. We always recomend having a new medal blessed by a priest before you wear it.
St. Anthony of Padua was a Portuguese Catholic priest and friar of the Franciscan Order, and is one of the Catholic Church's most popular saints. He is the patron saint of lost and stolen articles and is noted by his contemporaries for his forceful preaching, expert knowledge of scripture and undying love and devotion to the poor and sick. He was the second-most-quickly canonized saint, within a year of his death at age 36. He's typically portrayed holding the child Jesus - or a lily, or a book, or all three - in his arms.
Each of these detailed sterling silver medals from Creed is a visible reminder of those Saints that promised to protect us all.
