St. Matthew left his tax booth the moment Jesus said "Follow me." He wrote the first Gospel and is the patron of accountants and bankers. Wear it under your shirt or over it, it is a small sign that you belong to Christ. It makes a fine gift for a Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation or a name day, and it should be blessed by a priest.
