San Damiano Wood Crucifix J5502
$890.95
The San Damiano Cross spoke to St. Francis of Assisi in a crumbling chapel: "Francis, go and repair my house." It is a beloved icon of the crucified and risen Christ. Every Catholic home should have a crucifix on the wall, it reminds us how much Our Lord loves us. Hang it in the main room or above the bed, and have it blessed.
The Saint Damiano icon cross was painted to teach the meaning of Christ's saving death and Resurrection. This icon, like all others, is a "window to heaven" which helps us encounter, by grace, our God who loves us unconditionally and who calls each of us to build up His Body on earth. Our San Damiano cross is crafted of wood, contains a full-color image and includes a hanger on back.
