Advent is the season of waiting and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. Each Sunday the family lights one more candle, three violet and one rose for Gaudete Sunday, until the light of Christmas arrives. Light it at dinner each evening with a short prayer, it is one of the best ways to keep the season holy with children.
Advent begins the Sunday nearest November 30 and continues until December 24. Advent is a time to pray, a time to wait, and a time to hope.
Featuring the Holy Family, this advent candleholder is perfect for any Christmas centerpiece.
