"For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The Nativity scene goes back to St. Francis of Assisi, who set up the first one at Greccio in 1223 so people could see how humbly God came to us. Set it up on the first Sunday of Advent and let the children add the Wise Men on the Epiphany. It will be part of your family's Christmas for many years.
Introducing our Bethlehem Night Collection of exquisite items to grace your Christmas decor. This very special Nativity Set from Avalon Gallery evokes the joy of that special night so long ago. From the movement and texture of the fabrics to the jewels in the wise men's crowns, careful attention is paid to every sculpted detail. This 12-piece set comes complete with creche, holy family, angel, wise men, shepherds and animals, sure to become a treasured heirloom for your family.
