Santa Claus comes from good St. Nicholas, the bishop of Myra who secretly gave gifts to the poor. Here he kneels before the Christ Child, a gentle way to teach children whose birthday Christmas really is. A small figurine like this is a gentle reminder of the faith wherever it sits, and it makes a lovely gift.
