The decade beads of this rosary are a silver metal with an accented rose pink middle, creating a unique sparkle. The length of the rosary chain is 40-3/4 (doubled to reflect the round nature of the rosary) inches. The rosary circular length is 13-3/4 inches with a drop chain length of 3-3/4 inches, equaling a one-sided length of 17-1/2 inches. The drop chain features a 7/8 inch Miraculous Medal center. The Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of Our Lady of Grace, is a devotional medal, the design of which was originated by Saint Catherine Laboure following her apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The front side depicts Mary standing upon the globe, as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. It is meant to reference the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. The back refers to Mary's initial and the twelve stars represent the apostles, who also represent the Church.
