Our Lady of Guadalupe Statue
$28.95
Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac in 1531 and left her image on his tilma, which can still be seen in Mexico City. She is the Patroness of the Americas and of the unborn, and her feast is December 12. Catholics have always kept holy statues in the home, not to worship them but to remember the ones they show and ask for their prayers. This would be lovely on a prayer corner or mantle.
These striking figures were inspired in the carving style and in the color tones by the old masters of northern Italy, where the crafting of sacred art and sculpture is a way of life. The beautiful faces, traditional colors, and the marvelous attention to detail will capture the buyer's heart. Each is securely but elegantly packaged in a Milagros Signature Bellavista gift box.
