"For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The Nativity scene goes back to St. Francis of Assisi, who set up the first one at Greccio in 1223 so people could see how humbly God came to us. A good nativity set becomes a family heirloom, brought out every year and handed down to the next generation. Some families keep the manger empty until Christmas Eve.
The Shepard's Nativity Statue is made of carefully hand sculpted, hand painted resin with beautiful attention to detail. Perfect for everyone on your Christmas list!
