This sterling silver Ss. Cosmas and Damian pendant is 1" X 7/8", is enclosed in a beautiful box and has a stainless silver, heavy curb chain. The Ss. Cosmas and Damian medallion shows the two saints together.
These twin brothers were doctors in the 3rd century. Through their life they bore witness to Christ. They suffered crucifixion and stoning without dying, and were eventually beheaded. They are the patron saints of surgeons and barbers. This Ss. Cosmas and Damian medal is a great gift for a doctor.
