This sterling silver St. Philomena pendant is enclosed in a beautiful box, comes with a stainless silver, heavy curb chain and has dimensions of 1" X 3/4". The St. Philomena medallion shows her holding a palm branch. This St. Philomena medal can be personalized with a message on the back. St. Philomena died in the early 4th century. She was tortured by the Roman emperor when she refused to marry him. He attempted to drown her and he shot her with arrows, but she was miraculously spared from these torments. She was eventually beheaded. She is the patron saint of children.
