This sterling silver St. Agatha medal comes with a Rhodium, lite curb chain, is 3/4" X 1/2" and is encased in an appealing box.  It features St. Agatha with a lily, symbolizing her purity, with the words "Saint Agatha, Pray for Us" around the edge of the medal.  This St. Agatha pendant can be engraved with a personal message.  Please select from the drop-down box above if you wish it to be engraved.
St. Agatha was martyred in Sicily in the third century.  A Roman official wanted to marry her, but she refused because she had consecrated her virginity to Christ.  She had to undergo unspeakable tortures before being martyred.  She is the patron saint of breast cancer, and so this is a perfect gift for someone facing breast cancer.
