This medal of St. Kateri Tekakwitha is made of fashionably attractive sterling silver, possessing a fluently circular shape.  St. Kateri is shown in the midst of her rural home among the mountains, above which is engraved her illustrious title, “Lily of the Mohawks”.  Your purchase will come in a gift box and include a 24 inch stainless steel chain.  If you would like a different size chain please indicate in the "comment section" which measurement you prefer [18", 20", 24", 27", or 30"].  Known as the “Lily of the Mohawks,” St. Kateri Tekakwitha was the first Native American canonized as a saint.  Living in a pagan tribe, she patiently accepted harsh persecutions due to her conversion to the Catholic faith.  She eventually escaped to a Christian Native American settlement, where she lived a life of intense prayer and penance.  As Americans, we should be joyful in expressing our gratitude for such a beautiful saint who will never cease guiding our land.
