This gold-filled Ss. Cosmas and Damian pendant is 1/2" X 1/4", is enclosed in a beautiful box and has a gold-filled, lite curb chain. The Ss. Cosmas and Damian medallion shows the two saints together. This small Ss. Cosmas and Damian medal can be worn around the neck.
These twin brothers were both doctors in the 3rd century. After their capture, they were crucified, stoned and shot with arrows, and none of these methods killed them. They were beheaded. They are the patron saints of surgeons and barbers.
