This gold-filled St. Stephen pendant is 3/4" X 1/2", is enclosed in a beautiful box and has a gold-filled, lite curb chain. The St. Stephen medal shows him in a deacon's vestment, with one hand upraised in teaching. This St. Stephen medallion can be engraved with a message on the back. St. Stephen was one of the seven deacons appointed by the apostles to distribute food among the widows. He showed the Jews the ways in which Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies. He was stoned to death. He is the patron saint of deacons and stonemasons.
