This gold-filled St. Sebastian pendant comes with a gold-filled, lite curb chain, is enclosed in a charming box and is 1/2" X 1/4". The St. Sebastian medallion shows the saint tied to a tree and pierced with arrows. An angel is ministering to him. This small St. Sebastian medal is great for wearing around your neck.
St. Sebastian was a high-ranking soldier in the Roman army, but he was also a Christian, secretly. When his faith was discovered, he refused to give it up and so he was tied to a tree and shot with arrows. This did not kill him. He was then clubbed to death. He is the patron saint of athletes and soldiers.
