This gold-filled St. Joseph of Cupertino medal is 3/4" X 1/2", has a gold-filled, lite curb chain and is encased in a beautiful box. The front of the St. Joseph of Cupertino medallion shows him holding onto a cross while levitating and on the back is an airplane. St. Joseph of Cupertino received mystical visions and sometimes flew off the ground because of his ecstasies. However, these gifts made other people, including his superiors, suspicious of him, so that he was rejected by several religious orders and was later confined to a solitary cell so he would not be a distraction in mass. He is the patron saint of pilots.
