gold-filled St. Gianna medallion is 1/2" X 1/4" and comes in an
elegant box. It has a gold-filled, lite
curb chain. The St. Gianna pendant shows
her bust with the prayer, "St. Gianna, Pray for Us" around the
edge. This small St. Gianna medal can be
worn around the neck.
St. Gianna was a doctor and
mother. During her fourth pregnancy, she
chose to risk her own life rather than that of her unborn daughter's, and she
did indeed die shortly after her daughter's birth. She is the patron saint of mothers,
physicians and the unborn.
