gold-filled St. Gianna medallion is 3/4" X 1/2" and comes in an
elegant box. It has a gold-filled, lite
curb chain. The St. Gianna pendant shows
her bust with the prayer, "St. Gianna, Pray for Us" around the
edge. This St. Gianna medal can be
engraved with a message on the back. If

St. Gianna was a doctor and
mother. During her fourth pregnancy, she
had a growth on her womb which needed to be removed. Instead of having the entire womb removed
which would have resulted in the unintended death of her daughter, she chose to
only have the tumor removed and thus save her daughter's life. This put her own life in danger and shortly
after her daughter's birth, she died.
She is the patron saint of mothers, physicians and the unborn.
