This gold-filled St. Angela Merici pendant is 1/2" X 1/4" and is encased in a charming box.  It has a gold-filled, lite curb chain.  The St. Angela Merici medallion features her teaching little children.  This small St. Angela Merici medal is perfect to wear around your neck.  
St. Angela Merici organized a group of women to teach young girls.  By her death, twenty-four houses had been established for this holy work.  She was temporarily blinded while on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, and so she is the patron of the handicapped.
