This gold-filled St. Agatha medal is enclosed in a beautiful box and has dimensions of 1" X 3/4". It also has a stainless gold, heavy curb chain. This St. Agatha pendant features a picture of St. Agatha holding a lily, and around the outside of the metal is written, "Saint Agatha, Pray for Us". In third-century Sicily, St. Agatha died to preserve the virginity she had consecrated to Christ. She was forced to suffer unspeakable tortures, and because of some of these, she is now venerated as the patron saint of breast cancer.
