This sterling silver St. Raphael medal is 3/4" X 3/8" and is enclosed in a charming box.  It comes with a stainless steel, lite curb chain.  The St. Raphael medallion shows him with his arm around a man.  
St. Raphael appears primarily in the Book of Tobit.  When Tobit sends his son on a long and dangerous journey, he is looking for a companion and the angel Raphael comes to him, disguised, in order to be Tobiah's guide and protector.  When they reach their destination, he encourages Tobiah to marry Sarah and he chases away the demon who had killed Sarah's first seven husbands.  He is the patron of a safe journey and the blind.  This St. Raphael pendant would be a great gift for someone who travels a lot.
