This
sterling silver St. John of the Cross medallion is enclosed in an appealing box
and has dimensions of 1/2" X 1/4".
It comes with a sterling silver, lite curb chain.  The St. John of the Cross medal features him
praying before a crucifix.  This small
St. John of the Cross pendant can be worn around the neck.

               St. John of the Cross, along
with St. Teresa of Avila, reformed the Carmelite Order.  Other Carmelites, who wanted to keep their
lax life, imprisoned him for a short time, but he persevered and eventually
enacted his reforms successfully.  He is
the patron saint of contemplatives.
