This gold-filled St. Patrick medallion is 1" X 1/4", has a gold-filled, lite curb chain and is enclosed in a charming box. The St. Patrick medal shows him as a bishop with his staff. This St. Patrick pendant is not oval, but rather is cut out in the shape of his body.
St. Patrick was captured as a youth and enslaved in Ireland. He escaped after six years, but those six years gave him an opportunity to assess his spiritual life and he became a Christian. He shortly returned to Ireland, this time as a bishop, in order to preach. He is the apostle to Ireland. He is the patron saint of engineers and of Ireland.
