This gold-filled St. Agatha medallion comes with a gold-filled, lite curb chain, is encased in a beautiful box and has dimensions of 1/2" X 1/4".  It features St. Agatha holding a lily, symbolizing her purity, and around the outside of the medal are the words, "Saint Agatha, Pray for Us."  This small St. Agatha medal is perfect to wear around the neck.  This St. Agatha pendant can be engraved with a personal message.  Please select from the drop-down box above if you wish it to be engraved.
St. Agatha was martyred in Sicily.  A Roman official wished to marry, but she refused because she had consecrated her virginity to Christ.  In anger, he forced her to endure unspeakable tortures before she eventually died.  She is the patron saint of breast cancer.
