The
Catholic Church in union with the sucessor of St. Peter has the
fullness of true faith and the powers Jesus gave his Church so that we
may live within our hearts our Covenant with Jesus.The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines the human heart this way:
The
heart is the dwelling=place where I am, where I live; according to the
Semitic ot Ciclical expression, the heart is the place "to which I
withdraw." The heart is our hidden center, beyond the gasp of our reason
and of other; only the Spirit of God can fathom the human heart and
know it fully. The heart is the place of decision, deeper than our
psychic drives. It is the place of truth, where we choose life or death.
It is the place of encounter, because as image of God we live in
relation: it is the place of the covenant (CCC 2563).
Covenant
with Jesus prayerfully read, while asking the Father to give you the
Spirit, will assist you to appreciate the Covenant you must keep within
your own heart.
