  • Prepare a small table covered with a white table cloth near the head of the bed. Unpack and assemble the Sick Call Set.

  • The candles should be lighted before the priest enters the room.

  • Leave the room for Confession.

  • Come back to assist the priest.

  • Ask the priest the proper way to dispose of any blessed items that may have been used during the visit, they are typically burned, not thrown away
