Joseph T. Martin de Agar is professor at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifcal University of the Holy Cross in Rome, where he teaches state law on ecclesiastical matters. Prof. Martin is also an ecclesiastical judge in the Appellate Court of the Roman Vicariate and Consultor of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. He received his doctorate in Civil and in Canon Law from the University of Navarra, whee he also began his teaching career in 1975.
