This is a truly lovely book. The stories associated with dozens of statues, icons and paintings of the Blessed Virgin Mary are told in a clear, interesting manner. There are quite a few pictures. Some of the images such as Our Lady of Perpetual Help are famous, others such as the Madonna Tal-Ghar and Notre Dame de Foy (a copy of which is enshrined in a tree at the Shrine of the North American Martyrs at Auriesville, New York) are not so well known.
